By default, all sensitive data processing occurs locally on your device:

  • Audio transcription happens on your machine using your API keys
  • Meeting recordings and transcripts stay on your device
  • AI processing uses your own API credentials
  • Screen captures and OCR data remain local

3. Optional Cloud Features

You may choose to enable cloud storage for enhanced features:

  • Meeting Storage: Store meeting transcripts and summaries in the cloud
  • Cross-Device Sync: Access your meetings from the web dashboard
  • API Key Sync: Synchronize API keys across devices

All cloud features are opt-in and can be disabled at any time through application settings.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL
  • Cloud-stored data is encrypted at rest
  • Access controls limit data access to authorized personnel only
  • Regular security audits and updates

5. Third-Party Services

NoClue AI integrates with third-party AI services using your API keys:

  • Deepgram: Audio transcription services
  • OpenAI/Groq/Gemini: AI response generation
  • Firebase: Authentication and optional cloud storage
  • Stripe: Payment processing

Each service has its own privacy policy. Data sent to these services is governed by your direct API agreements with them.

6. Data Retention

Local data retention is controlled by you through application settings. Cloud-stored data is retained according to your configured retention policies. You may delete your data at any time through the application or by contacting support.
